James began his post-grad career by launching a clothing customization application in partnership with True Religion which generated over 5,000 orders and paid off his school loans. He then worked his way up to be an e-commerce manager at Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy Group, where he became an expert in the fashion industry. Through his experience there, he became familiar with the obstacles that fashion content creators faced when monetizing their content. He began working on a solution and Frenzy was born.
He studied at UT Austin and earned his BBA at the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship at the Bauer College of Business, the #1 undergraduate entrepreneurship program at the time. He was one of 30 students selected to have lunch with Warren Buffett at the Berkshire Hathaway Headquarters.
